On the Mairena del Alcor–Brenes road (A-8025), km 6.2, 41410 Mairena del Alcor (Seville), among olive fields and close to Seville airport. From the N-IV take exit 521 towards Mairena del Alcor (A-8025) and, just past km 6, turn onto the country track signposted with the hacienda’s name.
02How many guests can it hold?
Bodas.net lists celebrations of up to 400 guests. The main hall is 500 m² and holds 400 people; the winter hall, 400 m², takes 500 for a reception; and there is a 400 m² Andalusian courtyard and a 300 m² garden (the hacienda’s website).
03How much does it cost?
On Bodas.net the hire of the hacienda is listed from €3,400. That is the hire of the venue, not a menu price per person: you book the catering separately. Write with your date and a rough number of guests and they will reply with a quote.
04Who looks after the catering?
You do: the hacienda allows a free choice of caterer, works with a wide range of firms, and its kitchen is set up for the caterer you choose.
05Can we have a civil ceremony at the hacienda?
Yes: the gardens have pergolas, a romantic setting for the civil ceremony, and there is also a glazed terrace. On your visit you can see the corners and choose.
06Can we stay on the estate?
Yes: there are six rooms (three doubles, two triples and one for six people, according to Bodas.net) and a bridal suite, for the wedding night or longer when no other event is on.
07Can there be another wedding the same day?
No: according to Bodas.net, the hacienda holds only one event a day.
08Is there parking?
Yes, there is parking for guests. Google also lists wheelchair-accessible parking and entrance.
09Can we visit before booking?
Yes. Call 955 74 04 40 or write to info@haciendaveracruz.com and arrange a visit; Cristina looks after the couples. Its previous website offered visits by appointment from Monday to Sunday, 10:00 to 20:00.
